Medical Recovery Specialists was created to provide collection expertise solely to healthcare providers. MRSI is a stand-alone corporation which started operations on August 1, 1999 and has experienced dynamic growth in the past 6 plus years due to our superior collection results and excellent service to our clients.

The MRSI HIPAA Compliance Plan encompasses our network security, education and training of the entire staff, record management and electronic storage. MRSI has signed Business Associate Agreements with all of our clients.

Realizing that the “debtor” is your patient and that you wish to have them return as a patient, MRSI works with the patient to resolve the account balance. Whether through self-pay early-out, third-party follow-up, payment plans, post-dated checks or charity plans, MRSI collectors help the patient resolve the balance thus resulting in few, if any, patient complaints and more cash collected.

Our proprietary collection system provides our professionals with the information they need to have meaningful conversations with your patients. Account history, copies of bills, insurance information as well as other pertinent information are all “point and click” accessible to our staff.

We listen to your needs and desires and customize our service based on that assessment. We work with self-pay from day one as well as other designated points in the billing cycle.
